Interested in running for the Canadian Mountain Running team internationally? The selection criteria for various races around the world is now available.
Each of the below events have a different method of qualifying due to time constraints and race availability - be sure to note the deadlines for application and the dates of the selection races! These races include:
- World Mountain Running Championship - Premana, Italy - Selection race is at the Canadian Mountain Running Championships in Canmore, AB on June 10, 2017 - More Information
- NACAC Mountain Running Championships - TBA
Any runners competing for Canada are required to be a member of the Canadian Mountain Running Association. To join the CMRA, download the membership form here.
Runners who intend to compete for Canada at the World Mountain Running Championships must also be a member of their provincial branch of Athletics Canada. Please visit your respective province's website for more information on how to join. |
